Speed dating is a fun way to meet possible love interests, organized in a quick-fire format. It’s usually held in a bar or restaurant, and attendees book their space in advance, ensuring the perfect ratio of potential matches in the room. Speed dating also helps alleviate any nerves for those reentering the dating game; they can take the pressure off having to maintain a conversation with one person all evening. Matches are typically revealed after the event, minimizing the chance of any disappointment and keeping the event light-hearted.

On arrival at the venue, you will be welcomed and signed in by our team. There will then be a short cocktail hour where you will be able to settle in, mingle, and grab a drink whilst everyone arrives. You will also receive a scorecard and a name tag.

We will then give a brief introduction to the evening explaining everything that you will need to know about the format.

Your first date will begin and you'll speak to that person for four minutes before the guys are asked to move to the next person in order. The event continues like this until everyone has met everyone else. After each date, you will need to indicate on your scorecard if you would like to see the other person again, this helps you to remember each person.

Every speed dating event is split into two halves with a short break in between.

With breaks, our events tend to last up to 2 and a half hours. Most people tend to stay after the event for a few drinks and to socialize further.

You will get around 10-12 dates at an event however, we can never guarantee exact numbers. Occasionally you will meet a few more and sometimes fewer than this.

We work very hard to make sure the numbers of male and female participants are equal or almost equal. Although we can never guarantee this.

You will get 4 minutes with each date.

You will get one minute to make your mind up between dates. Don't forget you don't have to totally make up your mind until the end of the night before you turn your card in.

Yes, of course, although they will not be able to sit with you after the dating event starts. Don't worry! By then you will have already started to meet plenty of people.

Yes, but please be aware that the majority of people will be aged within the age guide. Be realistic, and only book events where you are likely to meet people of a similar age to you.

Yes - provided they are the same sex as you this will not be a problem. Just give them a copy of your booking confirmation to take with them.

We don't have a specific dress code. We would always suggest that you wear what you feel comfortable in but do make an effort. Some of our clients come from work so they are wearing business dress and others have time to get changed first - it's entirely up to you
